Bonjour and Welcome Prospective Families,
It is my great joy to welcome you to Notre Dame Academy! Thank you for taking the time to get to know our school as you make this important decision for your child.
Notre Dame Academy is a Christ-centered community in which children become diligent and lifelong learners, virtuous individuals, responsible citizens, and faithful Catholic Christian witnesses. Our rigorous academic program is aligned with the California State Standards, and we adapt the Common Core State Standards in English Language Arts and Mathematics to meet the needs of our students. All members of our instructional team are engaged in continuous professional development as we strive to deliver high-quality, student-centered, joyful learning experiences in all our classrooms.
Our students excel academically in their core classes as well as in the various co-curricular activities that we provide. Students participate in music, art, and physical education classes as well as a foreign language program kindergarten through 8th grade. After school, we participate in the North County Parochial League, where our students compete against other Catholic schools. We believe that students are successful when they are educated in mind, body, and spirit and when they are able to balance academics with their passions.
I deeply connect with the philosophy of Notre Dame Academy in educating the whole child and I believe that all students can successfully learn when provided with a positive environment. I plan to build upon the successful program already established at Notre Dame Academy while advancing the school and supporting growth that is needed. My end goal, with collaboration from Fr. Chris, parents, faculty, and staff, is to help all students achieve their highest potential and grow closer to God.
Parents, I want you to know how integral you are to the success of our school and students. With you as our primary educators, we are able to work together as a team to support our students to be the best they can be!
