Kinder Curriculum At NDA

See The Notre Dame Academy Difference First-Hand.

Sunday, March 3rd | 10am (Kindly RSVP)

On Sunday, March 23rd our kindergarten teacher will present on overview of our Kinder Curriculum including videos, pictures and specific examples of all the wonderous happenings in the Kindergarten classroom. You will see how our “whole” child education lays the foundation for a lifetime of fulfillment. The Sisters will also be available at the meeting to provide enrollment information.

Our Methodology

Small Group Lessons: class ratio 20:1 with an instructional aide. Students receive differentiated instruction at their personal reading and math level.

Station Rotations: students are engaged in activities that not only interest them but also help them to practice the skills that are taught during small group instruction.

Developmentally appropriate and progressive teaching practices: encourage cooperative learning, problem solving, critical thinking, and hands-on learning keeping students engaged.

By Framing The Learning, creating mental engagement, getting inside students’ heads for cognitive empathy, and anchoring the learning, our students are set up for success for 1st grade and beyond.

Kind Words About Us

  • Blessed To Be A Part Of The NDA Family...
"“During the last 11 years our three children have been blessed to be a part of the NDA family and all consider NDA to be their home away from home.
The fact that the school is led by the Sisters of L’Union-Chrétienne de Saint Chaumond has provided our children with a unique experience in which the Sisters and teaching staff strive to challenge them academically, and expose them to various languages, all the while strengthening their Catholic Faith and character development”"

Veronica and Jeff K. – Parents,

  • A Strong Moral Foundation For Our Kids...
"At NDA, we sincerely feel we are part of a larger family! In addition to the Catholic education with the lovely Sisters that help create a strong moral foundation for our kids, we love that the teachers and staff care about not only educating our kids scholastically, but are also sincerely intent on motivating our kids to be the best version of themselves in a variety of important ways, such as socially and benevolently."

    G.G. B. – Parent,

  • NDA Is Not Just A School, It’s A Place To Grow...
"NDA is not just a school, it’s a place to grow and experience the world around you with not just your classmates, but with your “family” that has good Catholic values instilled in them."

    Sal S. – Alumni Class of 2015,

  • NDA Is My Second Family...
"NDA is my second family, a community where I have developed lifelong friendships and learned invaluable lessons from mentors that will forever guide me into my future endeavors."

    Isabella R. – Alumni Class of 2018,

  • Dedicated Teachers And Staff...
"We chose NDA because of its French program. Little did we know that we were picking a home away from home. Dedicated teachers and staff, a strong academic program, a safe environment, and a close group of friends make NDA a great school!
    "
