The Excellent Education Is A Given…

The Opportunities Are There For The Taking.

Grades are given out as a reflection of each student’s progress and show where a student’s strengths are and where there is opportunity for improvement. Progress is always our goal and we wish to inspire a passion for learning. An appropriate grading scale is used for each developmental stage and our grading periods are broken into three semesters.

Report Cards

Report Cards are issued three times a year via email to parents or guardian. Parents or guardians also receive a formal Progress Report via email for fifth through eighth graders at week 18 and week 30. The Academy is transitioning into Standards-Referenced Reporting to students and their parents/guardians to provide a more comprehensive report, “measuring students' proficiency on well-defined course objectives.” (Tomlinson & McTighe, 2006).

Rigor with Redemption

Our Middle School retake policy encourages students to practice the growth mindset. This opportunity allows a student to request to retake a test to continue learning and improve the test grade.

RenWeb is our School Management Software. It is a private and secure portal that allows parents to see academic information specific to their children such as attendance, grades, progress reports, report cards, homework, missing assignments, school calendar, school announcements and teacher emails.

Kind Words About Us
  • Blessed To Be A Part Of The NDA Family...
"“During the last 11 years our three children have been blessed to be a part of the NDA family and all consider NDA to be their home away from home. The fact that the school is led by the Sisters of L’Union-Chrétienne de Saint Chaumond has provided our children with a unique experience in which the Sisters and teaching staff strive to challenge them academically, and expose them to various languages, all the while strengthening their Catholic Faith and character development”"
Veronica and Jeff K. – Parents,
  • A Strong Moral Foundation For Our Kids...
"At NDA, we sincerely feel we are part of a larger family! In addition to the Catholic education with the lovely Sisters that help create a strong moral foundation for our kids, we love that the teachers and staff care about not only educating our kids scholastically, but are also sincerely intent on motivating our kids to be the best version of themselves in a variety of important ways, such as socially and benevolently."
    G.G. B. – Parent,
  • NDA Is Not Just A School, It’s A Place To Grow...
"NDA is not just a school, it’s a place to grow and experience the world around you with not just your classmates, but with your “family” that has good Catholic values instilled in them."
    Sal S. – Alumni Class of 2015,
  • NDA Is My Second Family...

  • Dedicated Teachers And Staff...
"We chose NDA because of its French program. Little did we know that we were picking a home away from home. Dedicated teachers and staff, a strong academic program, a safe environment, and a close group of friends make NDA a great school! "
